Dayton Bar Association Appoints Thomas Whelley to serve as Board Member

Thomas Whelley, partner at Dinsmore & Shohl LLP's Dayton office, was recently appointed to serve as a board member by the Dayton Bar Association. Tom will also serve as the first vice president for the Dayton Bar Association. Board members will serve one-year terms from July 1 through June 30, 2009. The Dayton Bar Association currently serves 1,500 members throughout the Greater Dayton area.

Tom is a member of the firm's Litigation Department and has a wide array of experience in the preparation of complex business litigation cases, the defense of employment law cases, and other litigation matters. He has been selected for numerous awards including being listed in the The Best Lawyers in America® and Ohio Super Lawyers®. Tom received his J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law and his B.A. from Kings College.
