Dinsmore & Shohl LLP’s Construction Law Practice Group utilizes the varied background and experience of our attorneys to assist clients from conceptualization to completion of construction projects. We have represented private and public owners, general contractors, specialty contractors, construction managers, design professionals, and suppliers involved in construction projects that range from single family residences to multi-million dollar commercial buildings and roadway structures.

The Construction Law Practice Group is experienced in the divergent technical aspects of construction projects, such as bridges, roof systems, manufacturing floor systems, structural concrete and steel, steel erection, concrete, highway HVAC systems and equipment, electrical systems, elevators, engineered fill, historic restoration, pavement design and installation, and storm water drainage systems.

Our attorneys work at the outset of the project with owners and industry to clearly document the parties’ rights and obligations. After contracts are executed, we work with our clients to reduce the number of disputes during the course of a project and to bring a fast, cost-effective resolution to any disputes that do arise.
