Summer Associate Opportunities
Desired Qualifications The firm hires as associates individuals who are believed to have the ability to become partners in the firm. Dinsmore & Shohl places significant importance on law school performance in its hiring process. We believe that academic performance, law review and other significant writing experience, and moot court are important indicators of the ability to practice law at a high level. Emphasis is also placed on other evidence of exceptional performance, motivation, ability to communicate effectively, leadership, and other factors that indicate a potential for success in the practice of law and eventual partnership with the firm.
If we are visiting your law school for on-campus interviews, please submit your resume, cover letter, and law school transcript to the Career Services Office by the given deadline. Unfortunately, time constraints prevent us from interviewing a large number of students during this time. We do review all resumes sent to us by the Career Services Office and often invite students for an in-office screening interview on alternate dates.
