Cost Control Efforts - Computerized research services are billed at vendors' regular rates to third parties without discount
- No charges for local telephone calls and regular mailings
- Shipping of express mail and packages are billed at cost
- Photocopies are billed at $.15 without additional charges for personnel
- All travel expenses are billed at cost and local expenses are not billed
- No charges for many administrative services
- No charges for staff overtime
2008 Hourly Rates - Partners: $250-$495 per hour
- Associates: $160-$255 per hour
- Paralegals: $110-$175 per hour
Budgeting and Billing Our firm has been providing task-based billing and budgeting information to a number of our clients for many years. Currently, we also interface with several of our clients electronically for billing.
Alternative Billing Arrangements The firm is willing to discuss any billing arrangements that bring value to both parties, including:
- “Not to exceed” average hourly rates
- Single lump sum annual retainers
- Per file or per case charge
- Hourly or blended rates
